Median Mirror

We use our changing physical face as a tool for individual security. With this animation, I want to re-imagine a face ID recognition system from the perspective of inside your device as it reads your body’s internal median points, lines and nuances. I’m fascinated by the visual interpretation of emotion through eastern energy systems. I’ve set these changing values to movement via a collage of traditional and modern ornamental patterns.
