Sky Sculpture 01 - Origin

I realised I used to take the natural beauty in the world for granted. Like many, it dawned on me in the very depths of Covid lockdown how much I missed being in a space without walls and a ceiling. Maybe an uncommon trait for the digital artist, I work in nature as much as possible. I bring my laptop outside, I sketch on the beach and I write through dictation while I walk in the sun. Like a breath of fresh air, every day I look out to the sky to open my mind. Regardless of time or place, and no matter where I end up in the world, the sky is the ever-present daily reminder of the surrealist beauty that exists in nature. Creating this series is a form of meditation; a way to open and reset my own mind with a vision of heaven. It is a reminder to myself and to others that even in the darkest times, the peace, calm and clarity of a blue sky is never too far away.
