Janina Osinsao is a Sydney based artist working across various mediums, predominately with graphite and pen, drawing portraits on paper. Pop culture often acts as the subject of her works, capturing brands, singers and films. She experiments with various art forms and believes in the power of creation as an antidote for consumerism. Instead of giving into material possessions, Osinsao opts to channel that urge by creating visual art, graphic designs and sculptural florals. For her, the act of creating is meditative, fun and a form of nourishment. It constantly takes on different expressions, unconforming to one particular style. Osinsao has showcased her art at Pari, 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and produced graphic design works for the University of Sydney's SRC, UTS Law Students' Society and the Australian Green's Party.
