Established in Year 2020, REAL PARENT is a New Media Art and Music Collective that desires to contribute a fresh practice in both the virtual and the real. Through digital medium, sculpture art and sonic experiences, their work explores the interchangeability of beauty within chaos, highlighting the dynamic duality between hard and soft, real and virtual. These elements continually influence each other, creating a symbiotic relationship that enhances the overall narrative and aesthetic. An tenth-time award winner for their signature CG films, their creations transverse physical boundaries with a deeply integrated practice of 3D modelling in their wearable design and conceptual presentation. Recent collections ‘55555’ (2024/25) and ‘0000’ (2023/24) coalesce elements of post-humanist science fiction embodied across runway and ready-to-wear, alongside metaverse fashion pieces and surrealist cyberpunk short films.
